Kick The Robot
Kick The Robot
In the music of Kick the Robot, hook-heavy alt-rock gets shot through with bright harmonies, blistering guitar riffs, and a fantastically bold sensibility. On their sophomore album “Black Magic Radio Static”, the Atlanta/Athens, Georgia-based trio back that flash and swagger with razor-sharp songcraft that gives new depth to the band’s self-described breed of “arena garage rock.” And as shown on songs like the stomping lead single “Supermassive Automatic,” Kick the Robot’s triple-vocal attack and powerful melodies make for some truly transcendent rock & roll. The new album builds off their sound with a heightened emotional intensity and fully harnesses the unabashed energy of Kick the Robot’s potent chemistry and frenetic live performances recently revealed on their Southeast tour with Collective Soul. With their name signifying a revolt against soullessness in modern music, Kick the Robot are driven by a shared desire to make music that shakes up listeners and defies expectation.
The Breton Sound
The Breton Sound
Over the course of 3 self-released EP’s, The Breton Sound has crafted an on-going catalog of songs that are familiar, yet fresh. With influences ranging from Weezer to Muse, Foo Fighters to The Beatles, Oasis to Van Halen, the idea that the song should stick in your head has always been paramount, and the energy and volume needs to be there to back it up.
Writer Alex Rawls of MySpiltMilk.com writes
“...[they] trade in the same sort of big rock as Foo Fighters—poppy but heavy, scaled up to energize arenas. They don’t play them yet, but when 14,000 people are ready, so is The Breton Sound.”

On stage, the foursome (singer/guitarist Jonathan Pretus, guitarist Stephen Turner, drummer John Bourgeois, and bassist Joe Bourgeois) is live, loud, and fun. A high energy show has always been at the core of what the band does. Between Turner’s guitar fireworks, the Bourgeois brother’s solid and fierce rhythm section, and Pretus’ propensity for climbing speaker stacks or venturing out into the audience to join in sing alongs, a Breton Sound show isn’t just your standard guitar band show.

Having brought their show to clubs and festivals around the south and midwest, including stops at Milwaukee’s Summerfest, New Orleans’ Jazz & Hertiage and Voodoo Music Festivals, Houston Beer Fest, and Gulfport Music Fest, the band’s growing reputation as a top-notch live act was recently echoed by Thrillist.com in their coverage of the 2016 Voodoo Music Festival:
“Their classic sound is a relative rarity this days, but seeing them live will instantly make you wonder why that's the case. The group's powerhouse performances are rapidly gaining a reputation throughout the region.”

Paste Magazine named The Breton Sound “One of 12 Louisiana Bands You Need To Listen To.”

Fresh off of being named the recipient of the Louisiana Music Prize, and under the guidance of long-time producer Tom Drummond (bassist for fellow New Orleans rockers Better Than Ezra), the band began tracking songs for a new release, which is planned for the fall of 2017. Having honed and refined the songs live over the years, the band feels that the new recordings make the strongest statement about their identity as a band. Brash, loud, fun, confident, and real.
Roshambeaux
Roshambeaux
The truth is we're not like everybody else. We break a lot of rules and do things our own way. We're a big, rowdy, modern-electronically twisted rock duo from Atlanta, GA that doesn't sound like anybody else (even though they'd like us to say we're just like 21 Pilots, The Black Keys, Royal Blood or even The White Stripes). We tour big cities and small towns throughout the Southeast and Midwest United States. Every show receives the same treatment because the only thing that matters is the people. We released our album "After Math" in February 2017. We're super proud of it. It's the best thing we've done thus far. We invite you to join the Roshambeaux experience live at one of our shows or just listening to one of our songs. Read more at www.roshambeauxmusic.com/bio
